Roglic wins Liège-Bastogne-Liège with Metron 5D

Primoz Roglic of our sponsored team Jumbo-Visma has won Liège-Bastogne-Liège with Metron 5D integrated handlebar. The Slovenian from Team Jumbo-Visma won his first monument after a memorable sprint.

“This is unbelievable. It was so close”, Roglic said. “You should never stop believing and always keep going in the last centimetres. It’s a great feeling. I am very happy to be able to win again and I am very proud of the team. Tom was very strong on the final climb and the other riders also did a great job. It was the first time that I started here. It was on my wish list to win a monument and I succeeded.”

It is the second victory in a monument for our partners of Team Jumbo-Visma this year, after Wout van Aert triumph in Milan-Sanremo at the beginning of August, riding with Metron 6D handlebar.

ABOUT METRON 5D

The great success of the Metron 5D integrated handlebar is due to the following features:
• Stiffness: the very wide integrated “clamp area” between the integrated attachment and the handlebar creates a rigid and compact structure, much appreciated by sprinters when they unleash their power.
• Aerodynamics: due to the aero-design.
• Ergonomics: the 10 ° angle forward ensures a more natural position of the wrists and a wider position of the elbows, which facilitates breathing.

Thanks to this last feature, Metron 5D is also chosen by climbers like Roglic, who benefit from its comfort and ergonomics.
