12/23/2011 - TECH NEWS!FSA SL-K seatpost review
from bikeradar.com

FSA’s SL-K is cheap for a carbon fibre post and it's lightweight despite the amount of aluminium in the bonded-in head. A patterned cosmetic carbon layer doesn’t give much away about the construction, but it’s a thick bit of tube and the finish inside is smooth and clean.
The clamp is similar to the traditional micro-adjust style, but with a pair of side-by-side chromoly bolts. As they screw directly into the aluminium top clamp plate you’d be advised to exercise tightening caution. The FSA does without serrations on the cradle, but the saddle stayed reassuringly put.
The FSA’s market is limited by the lack of a 30.9mm size, but there is a zero-offset model as well as the layback version tested here. You’re out of luck if you need a post longer than 350mm though. Despite its relatively low price, the SL-K delivers a useful bit of carbon flex as well as low weight.
