Marco Aurelio Fontana won the Italian CX championships in a dominant way.

On muddy terrain Fontana took initiative early in the race to create a gap between him and pack. The gap grew lap by lap and Fontana even had time to celebrate his win by dressing as Captain America.

His finish line parade was a hint towards his next goal; Cyclocross World Championships in Louisville/USA on February 3rd, 2013.

Marco has collected 8 national champ titles for CFR in both MTB Cross Country and Cyclocross.
