Redline ‘Cross team Recap of Cyclo-cross Nationals in Verona, WI
Team Reline brought home three stars and stripes jerseys and had an outstanding Nationals in Verona, WI. The Weather was challenging and changed every day, the course went from snow to slop to frozen ruts. Generally we stayed with knobby Challenge Limus tires for the whole weekend and they performed flawlessly.
Logan Owen won his eighth consecutive national cross championship, Kari Studley repeated as single speed champ and won the masters women 30-35 race. Justin Lindine rode a terrific race until a crash with four to go dropped him out of the top 5. After a crash Justin’s cleats got totally loaded with the frozen mud and rendered clipping into the pedals terrible. Justin finished 13th, but until the crash, he was solidly in the top 5 and looked very comfortable. In the elite women’s race we helped Voler/Bicycle center racer Courtenay McFadden to her 14th place finish.
